Julie Savonitto
Lawyer
“Laws without morals are useless.”
– Horace
Always interested in discovering new things, Julie finds inspiration in her various experiences in order to find the proper way to approach a file. Cut and paste is not part of Julie’s practice. In her opinion, every file deserves its own tailored approach.
What drives her
When Julie meets clients for the first time, she makes sure that they feel comfortable and heard. Once trust has been established in the solicitor/client relationship and the facts have been sorted out, Julie narrows her focus on finding the best possible solution for the client.
Julie feels at ease pleading in court and truly enjoys the process of depositions and negotiations.
Avid reader, interested in a multitude of topics, constantly looking to learn and to discover new things, Julie looks at every new file with energy and enthusiasm; qualities that are greatly appreciated by her clients and colleagues.
What she has accomplished
After 13 years as a bilingual court stenographer Julie decided to go back to school in order to become a lawyer.
She joined Savonitto as an articling student in 2011 and has been part of the team since.
She practices with her colleagues in civil, commercial, and labour litigation files.
Education: Université de Sherbrooke, LL.B.
